Church Meals

Running behind and tired of the drive through windows? Come, sit down at the table with friends and family, take a deep breath and enjoy!

Crossgates UMC recognizes the pace at which the world is causing us to run these days, and that it is hard to find time to just sit down and eat a meal. We provide a time and a place through our Kitchen Ministries for you to do just that. We offer three different times during the week to gather together in fellowship and share a meal.

Meal day and times

8:30 a.m. Sunday: biscuits with sausage and chicken are available in the gym

5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Sunday: a full meal is served with a special menu for the kids
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Wednesday: a “Blue Plate Special” is offered

Monthly Menu

All meals are $4 each, and no family pays more than $20 at any meal. At each meal there is also a salad bar, dessert, sweet tea, unsweet tea and water.

September 29	Wednesday	Turkey Pot Roast, Rice, Green Beans, Rolls, Salad, Dessert

Homebound Delivery

Volunteers can pick meals up on Wednesday at 5 p.m. for delivery to our shut-ins. Meals will be labeled with name, address and phone number of each person to which we deliver. If you need further directions please ask those who have packaged the meals (Beverly Saggus, Rev. Art Kinstley, or Lois Brown).

If you cannot deliver on your assigned day, contact someone on the list to take your place and Vicki in the church office by phone 601-825-8677 or email: vnicholson@crossgatesumc.org.
