Crossgates UMC NewsChildren’s Center Building Celebration and Covered Dish Luncheon
On Sunday, Sept. 12 we will bless and dedicate the Children's Center Building at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Then join us for a church-wide luncheon. The church will provide a meat, bread and beverage. Check out the flyer to see what dish you should bring.
2nd Annual Blackbird Run
 Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Blackbird Run in memory of Coach Larry "Blackbird" Therrell. Starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 6 we will have a 5K Run, 10K Run, 5K Walk, and 1 mile fun run. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Patient Financial Assistance Program in memory of Coach Therrell. Mitch Brantley - Classical Guitarist Performance
Come listen to Mitch Brantley, a classical guitarist, on Sunday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. This is a free concert, but we will be taking a "Love Donation". Mitch is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and received his Bachelor of Music in Education and Master of Music Performance Degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he was awarded a Graduate Teaching Fellowship. He has numerous awards and honors, and currently is the guitar instructor at Meridian Community College.
