Rev. Allison Dickerson

If you have days when life gets you down, you need the cell number, e-mail address, or just the plain old phone number for Allison Dickerson. To meet her is pure happiness, and to know her is pure joy.

Allison is an Ordained Deacon of The United Methodist Church. She was appointed to Crossgates UMC in the Fall of 2008. She is an Associate Pastor for the congregation and serves as the Minister of Christian Education and Discipleship Formation. She is a graduate of Millsaps College and of Duke Divinity School. She has also served as a US2 Missionary in a Children’s Home in Illinois working with children and youth in therapeutic group homes. She joined the Crossgates staff from the position of Executive Director of the Bethlehem Children’s Center in the inner city of Jackson, Mississippi. She has experience in the field of Youth Ministry as well.

Allison is married to Matt who is a teacher in the Rankin County School Sysytem. The Dickerson’s have two daughters, Taylor and Katherine. Their pet-of-choice is Dillon, the family dog.
